Dumb people really really annoy me. I'm not so good with sympathy especially if people's problems were caused by there own stupidity. I'm good with empathy, and seeing where others are comming from and why they feels the way they do. I just don't feel sorry for them.

People who use the words, "I can't" get on my nerves when they use them as a substitute for, "I won't" or "I won't even try."

I like to try new things. I usually don't judge people. If I think someone is stupid I'll most likely stay away from them, but other than that, as I said I don't really judge.

I'm not a manwhore. I'm not here looking for sex. I can get that anytime(trust me) I choose not to. I'm trying to meet cool people who will either be a lot of fun or teach me something. Not that women actually believe that a guy could just want to be friends.

After graduating High School in Houston, I moved to the Dallas/Ft.Worth area for a long time where I worked in the Dental and Veterinary fields. I then went to Hot Srings, Ark. where I became a nurse and worked on a cardiac unit. 15yr. ago I moved to CA, married and worked as a home health nurse. In Jan. '08 my husband was tragically killed and I am now in the process of rebuilding my life and creating new visions for myself. I am now a hypnotherapist and have started a practice in Fairfield. I have dated one person as a widow and feel that I need not limit myself to the world around me. (I get to start with a blank slate and create my "new world!")

i like the out doors and being in the sun not big on cold weather. love all kinds of music especially jazz and easy listening. i enjoy wine and food and their paring. also love to travel and explore new places . love to be physically active so i enjoy working out. love the movies and theater enjoy going to shows in las vegas.

When I'm not at work I'm at home playing guitar, listening to music, or reading. Recently I started doing this internet thing. Music is a big part of my life and I'd like to meet someone who feels similar about any kind of art or creativity in general.

Most days you will find me pouring over my work looking through massive books trying to find just the right reference. When I have time I am either out running or in the gym trying out tons of interesting machines that often times I am clueless as to what exactly they do.

This is the sell yourself part(ouch) I'm a Father to my kids first, which I see every other week. Being the "teens" they do their best to push me out the door. Something about "get a life". I have fun doing anything. I like to golf and bowl to name a few and movies,fire and a nice bottle of wine.

I'm a student aiming to transfer to a four year institution to major in something related to the arts. (As to exactly what I'd like to study/major in, I'm sadly, still undecided.)

Personality wise, I'm a quiet person, the kind who prefers to sit and take in everything and input every now and then. I'm an observer and I love the feeling of peace and serenity. I like to see other people happy.

I adore nature. The idea of going for a bike ride or a hike doesn't bother me at all, though with my current living situation, I never get a chance to do these things.

Writing has always been a passion of mine. I'm constantly in pursuit of knowledge. Books are a treat to me, particularly non-fiction lately.

Other oddities that I enjoy and love include castles, cottages, rain, music, and quiet evenings (though I do enjoy those noisy amusement parks. ;P)

I guess I am at the point in my life where I'm old enough to do anything and young enough to actually try it. I'm exploring myself, the world and people I meet. I tend to be pretty liberal with politics. I respect people's closely held beliefs but believe in science and nature myself. Although I did enjoy studying other religions and cultures. I again respect other peoples diet choices but I tend to eat everything although I'm kinda hooked on indian food after a trip to London. I love furry creatures but reptiles creep me out. I don't smoke but I do drink. I believe in sustainable practices(in everything) and think the planet is in trouble because we(stupid humans) screwed it up. I like the colors purple & green and have an unnatural fear of the color orange. I don't understand how strawberries and balsamic vinegar work together but love that they do. I understand how men were historically in power (hulk smash!) but wonder why they are still in control. I think the price of gas is too low and the price of food is too high. and sometimes what I like best is to not think at all.
